"It can be somewhat risky reaching out to a graphic designer. You hope that they understand your vision, but also elevate it without losing the integrity of the original brief.

Twice now, Melissa has designed very varied outcomes for us. The first a save the date engagement party invitation. Second being a poster design for our good friends who welcomed their first child. For each of these projects we approached Melissa with a rough idea of what we wanted. Sometimes we come with a sense of colours, text or the layout we knew we wanted. It was immediate her strengths lie in both listening to your vision and asking the right questions.

But, what I loved most about Melissa was her ability to be creative and to challenge herself to whatever brief we threw at her. She has this incredible ability to fuse our vision, with her fun and creative aesthetic. Neither our vision or her aesthetic were compromised during the process. There has also been a beautifully hand crafted typographic element in the work she presented to us, so its evident she really paid attention to the finer details.

We were so pleased with both outcomes. We will always return to Melissa for any graphic design work."
